Acting and Acting Styles

The three actors from my film and I want to classify today each one according to the types of actors listed in my text are Christoph Waltz in the movie Inglorious Basterds. in 1940 Nazi occupied France by showing scenery, props, actors playing characters in specific costumes using specific body language, and those actors moving through , all with very little dialogue.( Goodykoontz, B., & Jacobs, C. P. (2014). Next one is Al Pacino as Michael Corleone in the movie The Godfather in this movie we see the actor type who live out the story presented for the viewer in the plot. At last I have actor Jim Caviezel who play the role of Jesus in the Passion of Christ movie. Jim Caviezel had to play a difficult role of Jesus and have people watched it.

The reasons for classifying the actors as I do is because each one of them had to take their position serious and involved personally, mentally and physically their role to represented their character.

Based on other films the actors has been in, I believed that for Christoph Waltz and AL Pacino will be place in the same category movie because they are fitted for it. They both have a serious, mean looking character that only certain movies will be fitted for them. As Jim Caviezel actor, I believed he can be place in different category because of his vulnerable side.

The things I can infer about the flexibility of these categories is not easy because to be a good actor you have to live the life of the character you are representing. This includes dressing like the character, walking, eating, even the way you comb your hair and face reaction says a lot about the flexibility of these categories.

Dialog for Batman he only has one rule. That’s the rule he needs to break in order to save Harvey Dent or the love of his life Rachel. Harvey Dent lucky coin to make his own luck. As or the Joker “you either die a hero, or you live long to see yourself become villain”. The sounds effects that comes alone each part of the movie where batman is hanging and joker getting ready to explode the ships. The sounds use of the music been played announcing to the audience that something bad is about to happen. The sounds and music introduce at the end puts the audience in the stage fear.

The different categories of sound that are being used in The Dark Knight is intense alerting the audience when bad things are about to come. Like the robbery in the bank by breaking outside window of the building and the different sounds when someone got killed and the sound when out looking for the Joker.

The assess the impact of sound in establishing the theme is the evil from the joker bringing to Gotham and Batman, alone with Gordon and Dent trying to keep the peace in Gotham.

The way the use of sound inform the mood of each scene every stage of the film was identify and alert the audience when something was about to happen or a silent when something not happen without giving the notice.

The specific sounds in my film that allow me to infer a particular genre is “we made it”, we are tonight’s entertainment. When Joker goes out of his way and goes into Batman place looking for Dent. The Joker Party Crashing Scene 720p (HD).

The category of sound did produce a range of effects, such as the fear, joy and relieve as the movie progresses. The capturing of the Joker and the got away of the Joker made the movie more intense. But more intense the sounds when the Joker kill his victims.
I believed if the scene or sequence would play differently if I changed or removed a key category of the sound. The movie will not have the same effect, I believed that audience always look for the fear and the happy ending of the movie and this is known by the sounds to alert audience when something good or bad is about to happen.

The lighting in Annabelle film

I chose to talk about the lighting in Annabelle film clip, the intensity and direction of lighting will influence how an image is perceived by the viewer, and it can establish or enforce particular themes. Using specific examples from your chosen film:

• What are the benefits of the style of lighting used? The benefits of the style of lighting used is the bright colors are use like three-point and assess the impact of the lighting used to establish the theme in Annabelle.

• How did this technique contribute to the theme? The way this technique contribute to the theme is that give each scene like the lighting three-point made the film more horror and give the audience a different experience when viewing the film.

• How was the lighting technique suited to the genre of the film? For example, documentary films tend to rely on natural light as a way of creating an overall tone of authenticity. The lighting techniques suited to the genre of the film was based on the different high-key and low key lighting included in each scene. The different type of key use to shot each scene give the perfect lighting to make the genre horror.

• In comparing how the scene would play if different choices of lighting had been made the film will change from genre to sub-genre. The lighting use in the film if different type of traditional three-point, high-key, or low-key will give the sub-genre. This will make the film to be supper natural movie.
